This bathroom was inspired by the homeowner’s love of things Mexican and rustic. The tub and the double vanities were removed and replaced with a stand up shower and two separate vanities. In keeping with the rustic tradition, the walls of the shower and the main floor are porcelain tile while the shower floor is river rock.

The vanities are hand made split pine with faucets that look like old-fashioned pumps. The linen closet door was replaced with a matching door front and we left room for a laundry hamper. The backsplash is handmade Mexican tile. The lighting was totally improved with high hats for overall ambient lighting in the bathroom and high hats over the vanity area with a decorative light in the middle. The walls are faux finished to look like leather. The shower area has a vapor proof high hat as well.
